An all ages Halloween event in Brisbane

Just when you thought Brisbane’s chilli festival couldn’t get any hotter, organisers are ramping up the fun by re-branding as a Halloween event from 2021 onwards.

Yes, it’s time to get Spooky Spicy and the place to host this fun event is Rocklea Showgrounds.

“We’re looking forward to an extra layer of fun with everyone in costume, including our vendors.  Kids can do some trick-or-treating at each vendor stall, and visit the Kids Spooky Space – full of surprises and effects in a safe, indoor environment,” said Scarlett Habanero of My Chilli Festival.

The event has once again received sponsorship from Brisbane City Council as well as the Moorooka Ward Office.

Entry is just $12 general admission and $8 for concessions.  Kids 14 years and under are free of charge.

This year’s charity partner is Radio Lollipop which receives 10% of net profits, as well as proceeds from gold-coin parking fees, donations ,raffles and auctions on the day.

My Chilli Festival, led by Scarlett Habanero, is a Brisbane-based boutique events management business focussing on chilli festivals, including Chillogan Logan’s chilli festival, Gold Coast Cheese Chilli & Chocolate Festival (June 2022) and The Sydney Chilli Festival – 2022 or 2023, depending on Covid restrictions.

Sandra Beynon PR is the media and PR agency for My Chilli Festival’s events.
